Berlin: Baby Metal Concert, Video Game Museum & 60s Diner

Hey guys (^-^)v

during this year's sommer holidays, I spent some days in Berlin to attend the Baby Metal concert with a friend and to spend some time there with my mom and my boyfriend.
I always plan to take some pictures during concerts to share them with you, but I always end up not doing it because I want to enjoy every moment of it and decide to leave my phone in bag that I hand in at the cloakroom..

So again, I only have some pictures from the outside of the concert venue:

concert venue: Huxley's Neue Welt (named after Aldous Huxley's 'brave new world' I think)
lots of people although the doors were already opened when we arrived as we got a bit lost on the way x'D
Have a derpy picture of us before the concert with Eric from Sylt who we met while searching for the event location x'D

The concert itself was really amazing and we had lots of fun! ♥

The next day my mom and my boyfriend came and we spent another 2 days in Berlin. My mom found an interessting hotel and we wanted to give it a try:

This was our 'room' x3
It's like camping but in a wooden hut. They are equipped with light and electricity but nothing else. For washing and going to the toilet, you have to go to a central house on the camping ground. It was really funny, but as summers in Germany are kinda unpredicatble, it was terribly cold although it was August...
It was great there and the staff was really friendly, so if you want to give it a try if you're coming to Berlin, this is their homepage:
  http://scubepark.berlin/

The next day, we went to the 60s diner for breakfast/early lunch.

They not only have really cool walls and mini music boxes at the tables, but also amazingly decorated washing rooms:

Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as we remembered it to be, so we might go somewhere else the next time..
In the Hotel, we found a brochure about a videogame museum located in Berlin and thought we had to go there.
On our way, we also found a museum dedicated to Berlin's speciality food 'Currywurst'.
They sold Currywurst plushies and Japanese brochures xD

But let's move on to the videogame museum ^-^

Like a museum is supposed to, they have many exhibits showing the history and evolution of video games, e.j. computers with the first computer game and postcards with printed chessboards you could send to and fro between two parties to play chess over a long distance, but also lots of videogame consoles of course.

But the museum does not only have exponats to show you the evolution

of video games, but you can also try them!
They have lots of old games you can try. For example a programm called 'Eliza', which was created in 1966. It is based on a simple writing programm, where you can type in a question and Eliza answers it ^-^ My boyfriend gave it try:

But the best part for me really was the arcade centre!

They had lots of games you could try ^-^
It was the first game I could play Space Invaders as a real arcade game!

I even made it to the highscore list in Asteroids:
(6th place ^-^)

It was really fun to go there ^-^
You could even play Dance Dance Revolution or see one of the first arcade games ever: Pong. But unfortunately, you could not try this one out..

After spending several hours in the Videogame Museum, we wanted to grap something to eat and decided to go to the Japanese Crepe Restaurant Crepestation

We had a Matcha Latte, one crepe with strawberry cheesecake and one with chocolate icecream, cherries and peaches ♥

Last but not least, I want to show you a picture I took at a subway station. All walls where covered with pictures of famous inventers and their inventions, among them was Gyro Gearloose *-* (his German name is Daniel Düsentrieb)

And that's how our trip to Berlin came to an end.
I hope I can come back again soon as I really like this city.

Thank you for reading!
See you next time (^-^)v

girugamesh in Berlin ヽ( ★ω★)ノ♫

Hi there (^.^)v

it's been a while.. I hope you are all fine though ^.^
Last saturday my mom and I visited the girugamesh concert in Berlin.
Usually I go to concerts with friends or on my own, but when some
certain bands are here (like X Japan, Versailles (now Jupiter) or in this case
girugamesh) my mom wants to visit the concert, too
and I'm happy I can do such things with her ^.^
I decided to wear last times tour shirt:

By the way, I really liked my hairdo that day x3

It's not perfect now, but I will practise it more often now ^.^
We arrived pretty early in Berlin to avoid the traffic jams
and spend the day in the neighbourhood around the event location
sitting in shadowy places and eating icecream xD
(it is really hot in germany at the moment x3)

Later that day I met my friends Riyoki and Kamiko again ♥
I don't see them often, so I'm happy if a concert takes place in Berlin
and I can meet them there ^.^

with Kamiko (^.^)v
(somehow I look strange in this picture.. and my arm has a weird colour o.O)
Riyoki was already inside the hall at the VIP-event x3
and I just have to share her photo with ryo here, it's so cool *o*

I hope she is ok with me showing it here ^.^
I'm so happy for her she has such a cute pic with her
favourite band member ♥

The two of them (Riyoki and Kamiko) also were so cute to buy me
a hoodie jacket at the concert in Aschaffenburg (or was it Munich? o.o)
So I didn't have to queue at merch stand before the concert
and could get a better place to see the stage *-*

Kamiko and I stood on the step on the left and could see really well ^.^
Riyoki was in the third row in front of the stage,
because she had prior entry because of the VIP ^.^
The concert itself was really great, too *-*
I just found it really short... but it was hot as hell inside the hall
so it was ok that they didn't play 2 hours or so.
Also the concert was sold out and all the place you can see
in the pic was totally occupied with people and so crowded o.o
But it's always worth it to see girugamesh live on stage ^.^

And here is my hoodie ♥

sorry for not wearing make up xD

That's it for now ^.^
I'm already exited for the next girugamesh tour *-*
see ya ♥

J-Day 2014 [Düsseldorf]

Hi there (^.^)v

last saturday it was time for every years J(apan)-Day in Düsseldorf \(^-^)/
I'm visiting it for some years now and I can definetly say:
this was one of the best j-days ever x3

This year we already arrived on friday,
one day before the actual event started and so
we had some time to stroll through the stores and buy things in peace
and not in so very owercrowded places like saturday ^.^

The first place we got to was the japanese bakery 'My heart' ♥
they sell so absolutely delicious pans and pasteries *Q*
this was my breakfast:

I really love the food from the japanese bakery ^.^
I wish I had one in my hometown, too..

next we went to some asian supermarkets and bought.... more food xD
I'm hoggish, I know q.q but J-Day is one of my rare opotunities
during the year to get to Düsseldorf and there you can find
so many more delicious asian and espacially japanese food
than in the stores around my area.

Furikake for rice
Soba noodles and taiyaki
a pair of chopsticks with the fitting case and an exercise book for kanji
Dorayaki and mini dorayaki x3
Green Tea candy, melon mochi and Koala cookies with white chocolate
Vegetable korokke and onigiri ♥

After this we strolled a bit through the city centre of Düsseldorf
and later we decided to drink a bubble tea at Sphere Bay ♥
(or better: I dragged the others to join me.. x'D)
I really wanted to try their Matcha Latte ^.^

My friend Nekoko's white peach tea and my matcha latte ♥

On our way back to the hotel we grapped some
dessert and dinner ^.^

yummy melon ice cream *-*
some kind of korean pancakes made of mung beans

On the next day we get up early in the morning
and dressed up for Japan-Day ^.^

First, we headed to bakery 'My heart' again to have breakfast ♥
then we went down the 'Immermannstraße' where all the
japanese and asian stores are located ^.^
I bought taiyaki ice cream as second breakfast x3

This is what I bought the second day:

delicious melon-soda
some korean snack and more mochi x3
more furikake and matcha-chocolate pocky
and cute fish lampion ^.^

Next we went to the actual festival at the Rheinuferpromenade ^.^
There was a stage where different martial arts were shwon
during the day and we got to watch 'Naginata'.
I never heard of this before, but it reminded me of 'Kendo' x3

and then it was Phototime \(*-*)/ ♥

Nekoko and me ^.^
Fusion~!! my favourite pic x3
and we met so many nice and cute people *o*

Jojo in her cute Luka cosplay (vocaloid) *-*
I met cute Kashi-chan *-*
two cuties we already met at AnCafe in Essen ^.^ she even made the nyappy-kigurumi herself *-*
two friends of Neko ^.^
And finally we met my friend and sister in mind: Haru ♥
she lives near Düsseldorf and we planned to meet,
but then her cellphone shut down and we were searching her with a sign x3

she has pink hair now, too *-*
And then we enjoined the concert of 'the Asterplace' together ^.^
sadly the technology was totally broken q.q
barely two out of five microphones worked, so the vocalist
had a really hard time... it made me so sad Q_Q
but nevertheless the band seemed to have fun and so did the audiance x3
I hope they come back soon and that everthing works better then ^.^

After this concert we headed for the main stage to see another concert:
'Crow x Class'
 the description sounded so interessting:
"the first visual kei band who plays traditional japanese music instruments only"
and it was so amazing ヽ( ★ω★)ノ
I really loved their music ♥
and they talked much in german, so cute x3

here is an example of their music ♥

after the show I even had the chance to took a photo together with Shion *-*
(the one on the right, who plays the koto)

and right after the concert ended, the fireworks started ^.^
we were still in the middle of the concert area
and so I didn't have the best view..

and this was my amazing Japan-Day ^.^
thanks to all who took part in it ♥

see you next time (^.^)v
