J-Day 2014 [Düsseldorf]

Hi there (^.^)v

last saturday it was time for every years J(apan)-Day in Düsseldorf \(^-^)/

I'm visiting it for some years now and I can definetly say:

this was one of the best j-days ever x3

This year we already arrived on friday,

one day before the actual event started and so

we had some time to stroll through the stores and buy things in peace

and not in so very owercrowded places like saturday ^.^

The first place we got to was the japanese bakery 'My heart' ♥

they sell so absolutely delicious pans and pasteries *Q*

this was my breakfast:

I really love the food from the japanese bakery ^.^

I wish I had one in my hometown, too..

next we went to some asian supermarkets and bought.... more food xD

I'm hoggish, I know q.q but J-Day is one of my rare opotunities

during the year to get to Düsseldorf and there you can find

so many more delicious asian and espacially japanese food

than in the stores around my area.

 

Furikake for rice

Soba noodles and taiyaki

a pair of chopsticks with the fitting case and an exercise book for kanji

Dorayaki and mini dorayaki x3

Green Tea candy, melon mochi and Koala cookies with white chocolate

Vegetable korokke and onigiri ♥

After this we strolled a bit through the city centre of Düsseldorf

and later we decided to drink a bubble tea at Sphere Bay ♥

(or better: I dragged the others to join me.. x'D)

I really wanted to try their Matcha Latte ^.^

My friend Nekoko's white peach tea and my matcha latte ♥

On our way back to the hotel we grapped some

dessert and dinner ^.^

yummy melon ice cream *-*

some kind of korean pancakes made of mung beans

 

On the next day we get up early in the morning

and dressed up for Japan-Day ^.^

First, we headed to bakery 'My heart' again to have breakfast ♥
then we went down the 'Immermannstraße' where all the
japanese and asian stores are located ^.^
 I bought taiyaki ice cream as second breakfast x3

 This is what I bought the second day:

delicious melon-soda

some korean snack and more mochi x3

more furikake and matcha-chocolate pocky

and cute fish lampion ^.^

Next we went to the actual festival at the Rheinuferpromenade ^.^
There was a stage where different martial arts were shwon 
during the day and we got to watch 'Naginata'.
I never heard of this before, but it reminded me of 'Kendo' x3

and then it was Phototime \(*-*)/ ♥

two cuties we already met at AnCafe in Essen ^.^ she even made the nyappy-kigurumi herself *-*

And finally we met my friend and sister in mind: Haru ♥
she lives near Düsseldorf and we planned to meet,
but then her cellphone shut down and we were searching her with a sign x3

she has pink hair now, too *-*

And then we enjoined the concert of 'the Asterplace' together ^.^
sadly the technology was totally broken q.q
barely two out of five microphones worked, so the vocalist 
had a really hard time... it made me so sad Q_Q
but nevertheless the band seemed to have fun and so did the audiance x3
I hope they come back soon and that everthing works better then ^.^

 After this concert we headed for the main stage to see another concert:
'Crow x Class'
 the description sounded so interessting:
"the first visual kei band who plays traditional japanese music instruments only"
and it was so amazing ヽ( ★ω★)ノ
I really loved their music ♥
and they talked much in german, so cute x3

after the show I even had the chance to took a photo together with Shion *-*
(the one on the right, who plays the koto)

and right after the concert ended, the fireworks started ^.^
we were still in the middle of the concert area
and so I didn't have the best view..

and this was my amazing Japan-Day ^.^

Nyappy! An Cafe in Essen o(≧∀≦)o

Hey guys (^.^)v

An Cafe is on tour in Europe at the moment

and so my friend Nekoko and I decided to see

them at the live in Essen ^.^

It is a bit far away, but so we had the chance to

visit Düsseldorf before the concert started x3

Düsseldorf as you might know has many japanese inhabitants

and therefore there are many stores which sell japanese stuff

like books/magazines, every day necessities and of course:

lots of food *-*

We wanted to have breakfast in a Japanese backery ♥

I love this place and their delicious food soo much *-*

My food:

on the right for example Anpan and Cornet with Matchcream ♥

Neko's food:

in the front is Kare-Pan ^.^

Afterwards we strolled through some other stores

and bought some onigiri ♥

It's one of my favourite japanese foods.

They also have many onigiris filled with vegetables

and without fish or meat. I choose one with kimchi ^.^

Then we continued our journey to Essen.

I have never visited this town before and we were quite confused

when we arrived at the main station...

But in the metro we met another girl, who visited the concert

and luckily she showed us the way ^.^

Still in the train I took a photo of my hairdo that day.

Nothing special, but I like the hair tie so much x3

a fluffy ball with wiggling eyes ^.^

While waiting at the concert hall some staff member 
of An Cafe came out and took fotos of us, 
which were published at An Cafe's official facebook page *-*

with my friends Neko, Riyoki and Bou ^.^ Bou even made this cute Nyappy-plush all by herself *-*

Since we found the staff members were so cute

we also took a photo together with them *-*

 The concert itself was really awesome *-*
It was my third concert of An Cafe
and definitely one of the best ^.^
For the next time we already planed to get VIP upgrades, too x3

After the encore the band took a photo with us ♥
I didn't found me yet in the picture,
but I must stand some where on the right side, near the
star shaped glow sticks and the Nyappy-plush ^.^

Harajuku Fashion Walk ☆ Düsseldorf

Hey my dears (^.^)v

what's up?

Today I want to show you some pictures of the first 

Harajuku Fashion Walk in Düsseldorf ^.^

I think it was the second event of that kind here in germany.

The frist Walk was hold in Leipzig, but I couldn't visit it q.q

so I went with two friends of mine on a long trip to Düsseldorf ^.^

we actually had to travel nearly five hours by train -.-

but then we finally arrived \(^.^)/

we were quite early, so we could spent some time going to the local onigiri shop ^.^

I really love these onigiri ♥

and then we all gathered in the entrance hall of Düsseldorf Main Station x3

with lots of colourful people standing there, the passersby looked quite confused ^.^

here we also met the cute and lovely Evelyn (on the right) ^.^

and then we started our Walk, passing the street with lots of japanese stores in Düsseldorf and a part of the city centre

at some points we all stopped to take group pictures like this ^.^

well, it's not the whole group (we were around 70 people *-*) but a part of it ^.^

here you can also see that we had bad luck with the weather q.q

it was slightly raining during the whole day q.q 

but luckily we all had beautiful umbrellas xD

we continued our walk and had some more pictures near the Rhine,

were also the Japan Day is held ^.^

when we arrived there, I also took a picture with cute Lara and Vicky ♥

and I also love Vicky's 'perfect face app' on her phone ^.^

here most of the people left the event, but some took the metro to travel to the Japanese Gardens in Düsseldorf ^.^

and I took a (sadly blurry) foto with cute Mizuki ♥

it already started to get dark here..

stupid winter time >.<

so we soon left..

but in fact it was a really awesome event *-*

we had so much fun and I met so many nice people ^.^

I can only recommend you to visit the event next time ♥

also thanks to the DecoRangers who did a very great job in organising this event ^.^

at the end I actually wanted to show you a video of the walk,

but I only found one (although nearly every third people filmed x'D)

if there is another video, I will definetly post it ^.^
